Jan. 11 & 12, 2025 for babies due Jan. & Feb.
Feb. 22 & 23, 2025 for babies due Mar. & April
May 3 & 4, 2025 for babies due May & June
June 21 & 22, 2025 for babies due July & Aug.
8 hours of instruction time over 2 days:
Covers 80% of full series content.
Condensed student workbook.

Class Description:
1. Birth Anatomy and Physiology – understand the science of what’s happening at each stage along the way.
2. Labour Comfort Measures – practical holistic techniques that involve the physical, mental and emotional aspects to minimize and manage pain.
3. Partner Roles and Responsibilities – understand and become aware of their importance; how to help using hands on tools such as relaxation and pressure points to name a few.
4. Labour Rehearsal – multiple opportunities thru out classes to practice handling contractions and different labour positions.
5. Postpartum – recovery after birth and the following number of weeks along with transitioning into parenthood.
6. Breastfeeding – proper latching, knowing they are getting enough and handling issues that may arise.
7. Newborn Care – caring for your little one over the first few months, including bathing, swaddling and intro to baby signing (See other class options for more details on signing).
